NXT RUN is a personalized running coach app operated by Endurance Apps ("NXT RUN," "we," "us," or "our"). We build training for serious runners, and that means you trust us with real data about your body, your workouts, and where you run. We take that seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to the NXT RUN mobile apps (iOS and Android), our website at nxtrun.ai, our web app at app.nxtrun.ai, and related services (together, the "Services"). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Information we collect
In short: we collect the information you give us, the training and health data your runs generate, data from devices you connect, and some technical data collected automatically.Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and login credentials. If you sign in through a third party such as Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information you authorize them to share.
- Training profile and preferences. To build your plan, we collect inputs such as your goal race date and distance, current fitness level, weekly mileage preference, day and schedule availability, effort distribution preferences, and personal metrics you choose to enter (for example age, sex, or weight used for pace and effort calculations).
- Communications. If you contact support, respond to a survey, or interact with our coaching chat, we keep the content of those messages and our responses.
- Reviews and testimonials. If you submit a review or testimonial, we may collect and, with your consent, display it along with the name you provide.
Health, fitness, and location data
- Workout and performance data. Completed runs and workouts, including pace, distance, duration, cadence, elevation, heart rate, splits, best efforts, grade-adjusted pace, and the feedback you give on how a workout felt.
- Location and route data. With your permission, we collect GPS and precise location data to record your routes, distance, and pace, and to power run analytics. You can control location permissions in your device settings.
- Some of this information may be considered health-related or sensitive data under applicable law. We collect and process it to provide the Services and, where required, with your consent.
Data from connected devices and services
- If you connect a device or service such as Garmin, Apple Health or Apple Watch, COROS, or Strava, we receive the activity, workout, and health data you authorize that service to share so we can sync workouts to your device and associate completed runs with your plan. See Connected devices and sync partners for details.
Purchase and subscription data
- When you subscribe to NXT RUN Pro or Basic, your payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your subscription is managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status, plan, and transaction identifiers. We do not collect or store your full payment card number.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. Device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, unique device and app identifiers, IP address, language and region settings, app interactions, feature usage, and diagnostic and crash data.
- Cookies and similar technologies. On our website, we and our providers use cookies and similar technologies as described in Cookies and tracking.
- Push notifications. With your permission, we send notifications about your training, account, and the app. You can turn these off in your device settings.
2. How we use your information
In short: we use your information to build and adapt your training plan, run the app, process your subscription, keep you informed, improve the Services, and meet legal obligations.- Generate your personalized training plan and adapt it over time, including adjusting future workout paces based on how your workouts feel and your completed data.
- Sync your planned and completed workouts with your connected devices and services.
- Provide analytics, insights, best efforts, achievements, and coaching feedback on your runs.
- Create and manage your account and process your subscription, including free trials, referrals, and, where eligible, the BQ Bonus program.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send you administrative messages about your account, changes to our terms or policies, and important service updates.
- Send you marketing and educational emails where permitted. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Services, and detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
- Analyze usage to understand trends, measure and improve our marketing, and develop new features. Where we use this data for general analytics, we work with it in aggregated or de-identified form where practical.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. PACE and automated processing
In short: PACE, the coaching built into NXT RUN, uses your training data to personalize your plan. Some features rely on trusted third-party providers to process that data on our behalf.PACE is the coaching engine inside NXT RUN. It analyzes your training profile, completed workouts, and progress to generate and adjust your plan, create workouts, produce run analysis, and answer your questions. To power some of these features, we use trusted third-party service providers that process your data on our behalf under contract.
These providers are permitted to use your data only to provide the service to us, and are contractually restricted from using it to train their own general-purpose models except as needed to deliver the feature. PACE assists your training; it does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you, and you remain in control of your plan and can review or adjust your workouts at any time.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you (for example, to build and deliver your training plan); with your consent (for example, for location data, health data, or marketing, which you may withdraw at any time); for our legitimate interests (for example, to secure, analyze, and improve the Services) where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and to comply with our legal obligations.
5. How we share your information
In short: we share data with the service providers that help us run NXT RUN, with services you choose to connect, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information for money.We share personal information only as described below. We use the following categories of service providers and partners, who are authorized to use your information only to provide services to us:
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud). Hosting, authentication, database, storage, push notifications, and analytics for the app and our infrastructure.
- RevenueCat. Subscription management and entitlement processing.
- Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment processing and subscription billing for purchases made through the mobile apps.
- Device and activity sync partners: Garmin, Strava, Apple, and COROS. When you connect one of these services, we exchange the workout and activity data you authorize. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Resend. Delivery of transactional and marketing email.
- Third-party AI service providers. Processing of training data to power certain PACE features, under contract and confidentiality terms as described in PACE and automated processing.
- Analytics and advertising partners (for example, Google and Meta). We may share limited device and usage identifiers so we can measure and improve our marketing and understand how people find and use NXT RUN. We do not share your training, health, or precise location data with advertising partners. Depending on your region, some of this activity may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under privacy laws, and you can opt out as described in Your rights and choices.
- Legal, safety, and compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of NXT RUN, our users, or others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share your training, health, or precise location data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Connected devices and sync partners
NXT RUN can connect with Garmin, Apple Watch and Apple Health, COROS, and Strava. When you authorize a connection, we send your next planned workouts to the connected device and receive completed workouts and health metrics back so they can be associated with your training plan. You choose which services to connect, and you can disconnect a service at any time in the app or in that provider's settings, which stops future data exchange. Data you already shared before disconnecting is handled as described in this policy. Each connected service processes your data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review those policies.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand traffic, and measure our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we present a consent choice. Some analytics and advertising cookies may be set by the partners listed above. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the website functions.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Services, and afterward as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain security and backups. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except for limited information we are required or permitted to retain.
9. How we protect your information
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect your account by using a strong password and keeping your login credentials confidential.
10. Your rights and choices
In short: you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, opt out of marketing, control device and location permissions, and exercise the privacy rights available in your region.- Access and portability. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Update or correct inaccurate information, including in your profile and training settings.
- Deletion. Delete your account and associated personal data as described in How to access or delete your data.
- Marketing choices. Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send you essential service and account messages.
- Consent and permissions. Withdraw consent where we rely on it, and control location, health, notification, and other permissions in your device settings.
- Device connections. Disconnect Garmin, Strava, Apple, or COROS at any time to stop future data sharing.
- Opt out of advertising activity. Where applicable, opt out of the limited data sharing used for measurement and advertising by contacting us or using available browser and device controls, including Global Privacy Control signals.
To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at support+nxtrun@enduranceapps.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 30 to 45 days, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. How to access or delete your data
You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To do so, use the account deletion option in the app if available, or email us at support+nxtrun@enduranceapps.com from the address associated with your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will verify your request and delete or de-identify your personal information, except for information we are legally required or permitted to retain (such as records needed for tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention purposes). Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your account data. For step-by-step instructions, see our Data Deletion page.
12. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience of runners and are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at support+nxtrun@enduranceapps.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you certain rights regarding your personal information.
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, and device identifiers); customer records (such as account and profile details); commercial information (such as subscription and purchase history); internet and network activity (such as app and website usage); geolocation data; health and fitness information; and inferences drawn to personalize your training. We collect this information from you, from your devices, and from services you connect, and we use and disclose it for the purposes described in this policy.
You have the right to know and access the personal information we collect, the right to request correction, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under the CPRA. To exercise your rights, contact us at support+nxtrun@enduranceapps.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
14. EEA and UK privacy rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases for processing are described in Legal bases for processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. 15. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and we and our service providers process and store information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
16. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
17. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use, including any device or activity service you connect to NXT RUN.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and if the changes are material we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an in-app message or email. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
